Fragrance and Formulation

The Profile:

Warm chandan, holy florals, a whisper of spice, woody amber that settles into your home like it owns the place. Because it does now. Your home has been blessed. Basically.

The Notes:

Top: Chandan, Light Wood
Middle: Holy Floral, Spices
Base: Woody Amber, Musk

The Blend:

Crafted with premium, phthalate-free fragrance oils and Ecocert-certified 100% natural soy wax — clean-burning, non-toxic, and the closest thing to Mysore in a glass jar we've ever made.

WHY IS IT VIRAL?

Chandan opens it like nani's puja room on a quiet morning — the tilak, the brass diyas, the specific peace of a space that's been prayed in for decades. Holy florals follow, soft and sacred. Spices add enough intrigue to make it a personality, not just a meditation candle. Woody amber and musk close it out like a slow Sunday exhale. Light it. Everything feels okay. Temporarily. That counts.

Details and Care

200g. Bright marigold gift box. 8×8×9 cm. Shows up looking like a celebration even when it isn't one. It is always one. Matte black lid. Single cotton wick. 40 hours of Mysore palace energy with none of the travel.

USAGE & RITUAL

First burn: full wax surface liquid — about 2–3 hours. The wax remembers how wide to melt. Skip it and you get tunnelling. Do the first burn. Chandan demands it.
Every burn after: trim the wick to 6mm. Without exception. Without negotiation.
Max 3–4 hours per session. Cool fully before relighting. Keep away from anyone who says "is this agarbatti?" Some conversations aren't worth having.

The Whip and Wick Promise

Indian Sandalwood was made because chandan deserves better than synthetic imitations and mass-produced shortcuts. This is Ecocert soy wax, small-batch poured, phthalate-free, a formula built with the same care and intention as the spaces it's meant to evoke. Puja rooms, palace corridors, quiet Sunday mornings. Spaces that smell like they've been tended to. Your home deserves to be one of them.

FAQs

Q: Is this just a sandalwood candle?
Chandan, holy florals, spices, woody amber, musk. It's a sandalwood candle the way a thali is just food. Technically yes. Actually absolutely not.

Q: Will this make my home smell like a temple?
Like the nicest possible temple. Marble floors, fresh flowers, very good energy. Not the agarbatti smoke version. The elevated one.

Q: Why does this smell familiar even if I've never smelled it?
Because chandan is one of the oldest, most loved scents in the world and your nose has been waiting for it. Some things just feel like home.

Q: 40 hours. Real?
First burn done right, wick trimmed every time, max 4 hours. The ritual matters here more than anywhere else in the collection.

Q: Good gift?
Marigold box, zero wrapping, smells like something ancient and important. No wrong recipient. Literally anyone.
